I’ve had a huge amount of pleasure from photography over the years, especially with the introduction of digital cameras, you can do so much with them & then do all your own editing at home.
I was the first person to offer one to one beginners digital photography lessons in the Endrick valley, Loch Lomond & Central Scotland areas, over the last couple of years my 1 or 2 hour courses have been very popular. In the course I cover camera & lens familiarisation, functions, settings & menus. This includes manual, aperture priority & programme modes. I also explain how to use on or off camera flash with each mode & how to get the best results.
I then move on to composition for both landscape & portrait photography, again I include how to get the best results from different settings & how to use depth of field to give your photos that professional blurry background look.
If you already have editing software but aren’t sure how to use it I can also run you through a few examples of what to use & where, things like colour pop, sharpening, exposure, contrast etc.
Past students have remarked on how simple it can be to use your digital camera just after 2 hours instruction, it is certainly enough to get you on your way to taking great images of your own.
I am a listed photography tutor with both sites below
